ITS TIME FOR WOMEN TO RISE AND WAKE UP PLUS KNOWING THEIR RIGHTS AND POSITION IN SOCIETY

On Saturday, July 14th 2010 it was the launching of TUNAWEZA CAMPAIGN in Arusha with the great purpose of empowering women as well as stopping violence against women.

An event took place at Sheikh Amri Abeid in Arusha after the demonstration from early morning done by most alliances who showed up to support TUNAWEZA CAMPAIGN which was attended by some other members of the Same campaign in KENYA and UGANDA.

The event was prepared by HAKI MADINI, BAREFOOT RECORDS, IOM FARAJA, PERFECT YOUTH GROUP and one radio station in Arusha called MJ RADIO (MAMBO JAMBO RADIO)

The great target of the organisations prepared that event was upon youth, and as the only way to get them with the message easily they had to arrange different artists who performed and spiced up the event.
